Bridesmaids

One of my favorite Mayi related developments of 2010 was the beginning of what has been a fun experience for me – creating jewelry for bridesmaids. My first bridal client was my best friend, but little by little I have extended my services to other women who have heard about me by word of mouth.
One of my recent commissions was for an April wedding. I showed the bride a few different gemstone options, and she loved the rough, unpolished look of rutilated quartz. We paired them with gold bow posts. I love the juxtaposition of the feminine and dainty bows with the more unusual rutilated quartz.
